Ok bloggers... if anyone out there still reads our blog, I need some help. We have 2 grandfathers who cannot pick a "grandfather" name for Braylin (and future grandkids) to call them. So help us out and please let us know what you call your grandfathers and/or what your kids call their grandfathers. Thanks!!! Hopefully this will help them out a little bit...
The grandmothers' names: My mom is going by Gammie because we loved it as soon as she mentioned it one day, and Jay's mom is going by Poppi because that's what all of the cousins called her when they were little kids so we're keeping it in the family

oh yeah our parents went through months trying to choose "just the right one," but it will really be whatever form of the name the child can say! :) how about:
pop
doc (thats what everyone calls my dad anyway, so we thought it worked great for the grandkids, too)
papa
pops
opa (thats german - doesnt really work if none of yall are german!)
and then your good ole grandad grandpa etc...but our dads said they didnt feel old enough to be called that! haha but i still like them. good luck! what are your moms being called?
My dad seriously considered going by G-daddy, but decided on Pop in the end.
We like Papa. Thats always a good one, and as Braylin gets older and doesn't wanna say "Papa" in public she can say "pop"! But thats even more for the boy your gonna have next, right? LOL! Anyways, I could definitely see your dad being a "Papa".
HEHE - the grandparent names! We have COACH, Pops, and Pap!?! This seems to be such a huge thing now! When we were little, whatever we blurted out, is what they were!! I think Doc would be cute for your dad, or papa! "We're going to Doc and Gammie's" - has a nice ring to it! I had 2 Popo's. Trust me, whatever Braylin utters - will melt their hearts! Good luck!
